Soupergirl's New Store!

Soupergirl, my favorite soup store, now has a location in DC! They have a "Soupergirl Express" right on 1829 M Street NW near Dupont Circle. It's express because there is no seating so it is pretty much take-out only. I've been ordering soup from her since she only offered delivery service. Now she offers delivery service, has two stores, and retails in Whole Foods and many independent markets in and around DC. All of her products (soups, salads, hummus, etc.) are vegan and Kosher.

While at her opening party, I had the pleasure of trying her salads for the first time and boy, were they good.  There was a delicious white bean salad that was my favorite. I also loved the Kale Miso sald and Roasted Beet and Barley.  Then there was the Bulgur Kale Apricot -- yum!

After enjoying just her soups for so long, I had no idea she rocked the salads too! They also offer baked goods in the store as well. Anyway, although I wish she were closer to me, I guess it's only a matter of time before the Soupergirl enterprise opens a third store near me. For now, I'll enjoy Sara's soups on M Street!
